I also want to channel my inner entrepreneurial spirit by going down this business/freelance route. For me, I’d rather spend off hours doing something in an unrelated field and satisfy another curiosity of mine while making a few extra bucks here and there. Typically, people in my field either do some freelance tech consulting, web development, or just personal app projects since it’s more lucrative and/or it polishes their skills for their day job. I currently work full-time from home as a software engineer for a mid-sized tech company and have been doing extensive research on side hustles/other ways to make a little extra cash. Please message the mods with any thought, ideas, etc (including feedback on the side-bar rules you just finished reading).
